A close neighbor to Inglis, Yankeetown is located on the Withlacoochee River on the north Gulf Coast and boasts some of the best salt and fresh water fishing in the country. Yankeetown is also home to Punkin Island on County Road 40 where the 1961 Elvis Presley movie “Follow That Dream” was filmed.
